Darkened Manhattan Cocktail Recipe
The Darkened Manhattan from Proof on Main in Louisville, KY tastes like a cross between a classic Manhattan and a Black Russian - a sweeter, more flavorful version of the traditional Manhattan.
Materials
- 1 1/2 ounces Woodford Reserve Bourbon
- 1 ounces Sweet Vermouth
- 1 ounces Starbuck’s Dark Coffee Liqueur or Kahlúa
- Ice
- Cherry to garnish
Instructions
- Put scoop of ice in metal shaker tin
- Pour measured amount of Bourbon, Sweet Vermouth and Starbucks Liqueur over ice
- Shake vigorously
- Strain contents into a chilled martini glass
- Garnish with a cherry
