Here in the South, we LOVE our cocktails. Every Friday the Southern Foodies like to share one of our favorite Southern-Traditional, Southern-Created or Southern-Inspired Cocktail Recipes we know you will enjoy.
Today’s Southern Cocktail, from Atlanta, is an inspired coupling of the classic favorite cocktails, the Manhattan and the Americano.
Southern Cocktail #13 is Perfect Mark Cocktail
The bartenders at Inman Park Patio, Atlanta, GA (sadly, closed) were inspired by Americanos (Campari and sweet vermouth) and Manhattans (bourbon and sweet vermouth) when they created their own inspired combination (Maker’s Mark bourbon, Campari and sweet vermouth).
The Perfect Mark Cocktail is perfectly on mark for holidays, parties and any cold Winter day you just feel like curling up in front of a big fire.
