Southern Catfish Sliders – with Swiss, Sautéed Onions and Remoulade Sauce
The flavors of this slider go so well together – the sharp tang of the remoulade sauce, sweetness of the tomatoes and smokey goodness of the sautéed onions pairs with the hot crunch of the savory catfish – that you will be amazed you’ve never had these before.
These are perfect for a party. Make sure you do the “First Things First” before the party and assemble the sliders as close to serving as possible.
Make 2 of these is a great way to enjoy a quick but satisfying lunch. Just make sure you have the buns, remoulade sauce, onions, lettuce and tomatoes on hand – and go out and grab some take-out fish. If you can get catfish, that is best, but any fried fish will work here. Or use boxed frozen fish. We’ve done that and they make a pretty decent sandwich. Sauté the onions while the fish is cooking and you have a quick lunch that is very satisfying.
