The Baudin Cocktail Recipe
As prepared at Twelve Mile Limit, New Orleans
Materials
- 1 1/2 ounces Bourbon Whiskey
- 1/2 ounce freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
- 3/4 ounce Honey Simple Syrup
- 2 dashes of Tabasco Hot Sauce Or try different Hot Sauces for different flavors
- Lemon Peel to garnish
Instructions
- Combine the Bourbon, lemon juice, and honey simple syrup in an ice-filled cocktail shaker.
- Give a hearty shake for about 5 seconds.
- Strain into chilled old fashioned glass with crushed ice.
- Add lemon peel.
